The 5th annual Men in Heels race is a fun way for the community to help raise funds for the Women’s Resource Center to assist individuals in La Plata County.

Funds raised during this event go to financial aid, legal aid, domestic violence, scholarships and youth programs to help support those struggling in our community.

Womenade is our financial aid program that offers a one time grant up to $700 to working individuals who are facing financial hardship. Grants have been used for auto repair, childcare, and more. Since 2002 the Womenade Program has helped over 600 individuals and given out over $250,000 in grants!
