Women’s Empowerment Workshops
The Women’s Resource Center partners with local experts to offer practical “how-to” workshops on topics as wide ranging as Car Care 101 to tax preparation for women to leadership programs with horses. Networking with Other Women Professionals
The Women’s Resource Center collaborates with other organizations in the community to support and promote networking opportunities for women professionals:
- Professional Women’s Network of Durango: Professional Women’s Network of Durango has devoted its energy to passionately getting women in Durango to connect, grow, and inspire each other. They want to provide a community for professional women in Durango to mentor and guide each other in a supportive and collaborative environment. Through networking, presentations, lectures, speakers, events, and volunteering they want to connect the women in Durango to do remarkable things and exceed all of their goals. - Business Women’s Idea Exchange: Noon to 1 p.m. on the Second Friday of the month. Join other business women and get feedback on your business’ unique selling proposition.
